The Risks of Delta 8 on Lung Health

If you're considering quitting smoking or have cancer, it's important to be aware of the potential risks of using Delta-8 distillate. While the effects of Delta-8 on the lungs are not yet fully understood, it is known that smoking anything can cause damage to your respiratory system. To protect your lung health, it is best to avoid smoking Delta-8 or any other cannabinoid and instead opt for alternatives such as edibles or water-soluble oils. Synthetic cannabinoids are illegal and can have a stronger effect on the user than natural cannabinoids. Cannabis vaporizers also contain synthetic cannabis which can lead to serious health problems, including cardiac arrest or even death.

Delta-8 tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is said to have more medicinal benefits than THC Delta 9, the most popular psychoactive cannabinoid. Consuming hemp-derived products containing delta-8 THC can cause adverse reactions such as vomiting, hallucinations, difficulty standing and loss of consciousness.Delta 8 carts are generally safe, as long as they contain quality vaping oil without synthetic cannabinoid products or harmful chemicals such as propylene glycol. The FDA has issued a warning statement about Delta-8 THC, stating that it has “serious health risks” and has not been evaluated or approved for safe use in any context. The FDA also recommends keeping Delta-8 out of reach of children and pets.

Reports of adverse events related to THC delta-8, as well as other cannabis-derived products produced in a similar manner, have increased and warrant ongoing monitoring. Ivan Green from The Cannabis Radar recently spoke about the safety of products with THC delta-8, particularly delta-8 carts. He emphasized the importance of researching the product before using it and ensuring that it is free from synthetic cannabinoids and other harmful chemicals.
